The work, in five kinds of session.
Every session is shaped by what arrives. These are the shapes most sessions take.
- — 01
Foundational biodynamic session
The default container — a full check-in, settling, and a sequence of light craniosacral holds that follow the body's own rhythms. Best as a first visit.
- — 02
Trauma resolution
A longer, slower session for anyone holding the imprint of an event the system hasn't yet been able to release. We use BCST holds and gentle verbal-skills inquiry as it serves.
- — 03
Post-injury & post-surgery
Support for the body during the integration that follows accidents, sports injuries, or surgical procedures. Often paired with whatever physical therapy is in place.
- — 04
Pediatric & infant
Exquisitely gentle work for newborns, infants, and children. Sessions are short and meet the child where they are; a parent or caregiver is present throughout.
- — 05
Animal sessions
Dogs, cats, and horses. Sessions are arranged by phone and tailored to the animal's temperament and setting. House visits available within Longmont.
- Arrival
- A few minutes to settle, take off shoes, and have a brief check-in about what brought you in.
- The table
- You lay face up, fully clothed, often with a light blanket. The room is kept quiet.
- The work
- A series of very light contacts at the cranial base, sacrum, and elsewhere along the dural pathway. Mostly stillness.
- Closing
- Time to come back into the room before standing. We talk briefly about what showed up.
- After
- Hydrate and keep the rest of the day quiet if you can. Some clients feel a settling for a day or two.
